Where it comes in handy.

Three everyday examples for this design.

  1. Refill a compatible oil bottle slowly while holding the funnel's side tab.

  2. Transfer a cooled, smooth dressing into a narrow-necked bottle, leaving an air gap around the spout.

  3. Pour small dry grains into a suitable storage bottle, stopping if the throat becomes blocked.
